my mom has, believe it or not, decided that having a dog would be a good idea.  no, we do not have a dog, but instead of years of building up responsibility, it will probably be NEXT YEAR or maybe christmas, if we don't do presents!  i think i know what puppy we will get..

yesterday, i was playing with my little brother, Jack Russel Terrier, when he jumped up and said, "look! on the deck!" i slowly dragged my eyes from the book i was reading, and while i was doing that, my older brother, Malamute, yelled, "whoa, raccoons!" and instantly i was up on my feet.  and there they were.  two adorable raccoons.  a mom and a baby. 
the stopped at our deck rail, and the mom climbed up, the baby following.  i told my little brother to go get my mom, and soon everyone was down there looking at them.  the mom left before my parents could get down there, but the baby was still there.
